Trip at a glance
DAY 1 – ARRIVAL
As you reach the airport in Mauritius, get transferred to the hotel and spend the day at leisure. Enjoy dinner and a relaxing stay at the hotel.
Day 2 – Belle Mare and Water Sports
After breakfast, drive to Belle Mare to take part in some aquatic activities like parasailing, undersea walk, waterfall visit or banana tube ride (Water activities are at additional cost). Then get a drive to Trou d’Eau douce for the speedboat transfer to Ile AUXCERF, the islet with the most beautiful beach and the clearest turquoise water. Return to the main island after the activities by speed boat and then travel to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 3 – Leisurely Day
After breakfast, spend the day at your own leisure or stroll around the hotel to meet new people. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 – Curepipe visit
After breakfast make your way to Curepipe. Visit the ship making factory. Dposome hopping at the duty-free shops in Floreal. View the scenic town of Curepipe & its surroundings from the extinct crater of Trou aux Cerfs. In the afternoon, get a drive through the nature park of Black River and Plaine Champagne to Chamarel village. Stop at Grand Bassin (Ganga Talao) sacred lake & view the stunning 108 feet statue of “Mangal Mahadev”. Following which you will visit Chamarel, the unusual 7 coloured earth created by volcanic rocks, the earth forms beautiful patterns of colour in the exposed hillsides. Enjoy the strikingly beautiful Chamarel waterfalls which emerge from the moors and primeval vegetation. The water tumble from a height of about 83 meters. Return to your hotel by evening.
Day 5 – Port Louis Visit
Post breakfast, start your journey to Port Louis, the capital via the Citadel and the surrounding area. Witness the beauty of Champ de Mars race course, inaugurated in 1812 it the oldest horse-racing club in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the oldest in the world. Afterwards, come to Le Caudan/Port Louis Waterfront, with some 170 shops it is a must shopping stop. Then return to the hotel and take rest.
Day 6 – Departure:
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
